Call for nominations Scheele Award 2025

To commemorate the skills and achievements by the famous chemist and pharmacist Carl Wilhelm Scheele, the Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Scientist has since 1961 appointed a particularly prominent and internationally renowned pharmaceutical scientist as the Scheele Laurate. The purpose is to highlight current pharmaceutical research and though the symposium organized in connection with the award ceremony, build networks between Sweden and the rest of the world in the relevant field.

• The Scheele Laurate is awarded a prize of 250.000 SEK, a medal, and a diploma. A special Scheele symposium is organized in conjunction to the event.

• The candidate should be an international recognized scientist, professionally active within the fields of drug research and drug development.

• Both female and male nominations are appreciated.

• To submit your nomination please complete the nomination form and send the corresponding information to Lisa Bandholtz, secretary of the Scheele Award Committee, no later than 15 September 2024.
